Fisk University Transfer Student
Transfer students are those students that have attended high school, graduated, and have attended or are now attending a two or four-year institution.
If you are a transfer student, please submit the following information to apply and complete your application:
- An official application for admission

- Official college transcripts (Required from all colleges attended)
- Each school(s) you have attended must send an official copy. Transcript(s) can be sent via one of the following methods:
- Parchment (Strongly Encouraged)
- The Common Application for Transfer Student (Strongly Encouraged)
- The Clearinghouse (Strongly Encouraged)
- Official transcript mailed to Fisk University (Attn: Office of Admission)
- Course descriptions (for all courses taken, unless associate degree has or will be conferred) Required
- You must provide the course descriptions of the courses you have taken on a word document in the following format below (unless AA degree will or has been conferred). This information can be obtained from your college/university bulletin. Please be sure to include your full name and the school’s name.
- PSY 180, GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY, 4 credits (example of Course Description)
The systematic study of the history, experiments, and theories regarding human behavior and the relation of this material to everyday life. Emphasizes the methods and techniques employed in studying human behavior. Required of all psychology majors. - If you are under 30 earned credit hours, the following items are required along with the above:
- Final Official High School Transcript(s)
- Official SAT/ACT scores
